Our founder, Tammy “Ms. Marie” Johnson, tested her first blends in local Charlotte markets, learning from every cup and every smile. That early feedback, combined with a relentless passion for flavor, shaped the foundation of what Ms. Marie’s Coffee Blend is today.
Beyond coffee, our culinary creativity continues to unfold. STEAKRITE, our signature dry rub, has reached customers through Walmart, proving that products built with care, quality, and flavor can grow from local beginnings into something enjoyed nationwide.

Keith Powell was among the very first to taste Tammy “Ms. Marie” Johnson’s coffee creations. His encouragement and belief in what was possible helped inspire the vision that would eventually become Ms. Marie’s Coffee Blend.
From the beginning, it was a sensation to my mouth from the beginning of the drink to the end.
Though both Keith Powell and Dietrick Bojo Williams have since passed away, their support, encouragement, and belief remain part of the foundation of this brand.
Their voices live on in every blend we create, every package we prepare, and every customer we serve.
